Silly Season of a footy season

EPL football season just ended last weekend with Man utd lifting the trophy. While Chelsea came second followed by a mixed emotion Arsenal and Liverpool in 4th place.Arsenal were leading the pack for a long stretch of the season but unfortunately they slipped up in afew matches and handed the title to Man Utd.The demise of Arsenal this season can largely be placed upon the shoulders of the players and their bad luck.Players like Emmanuel Adebayor who played really well this season sometimes just fizzled out on certain occasions just left our attack dry.Our defense was not much to brag about either with the new captain Gallas who ran off crying in one match. The only defenders that performed were Gael Clichy who made masterful splitting runs all over the place and the new signing Bacary Sagna who stamped his place as an ultimate right back.Emmanuel Eboue often just played as the 11th man in the team doing absolutely nothing most of the time which was frustrating for a fan seeing him run run and run and lose the ball.Often enough i kept hearing myself shout pass the goddamn ball mann!!!

Arsenal had really bad luck with injuries this season. There were times when we had to field a really poor squad against big teams cause of injuries which costs us dearly.Robin Van Persie started the season cracking but got injured and missed the rest of the games. When he came back he was absolutely shite...No composure,no confidence,No enthusiasm to play for the team.
Many of the players were gutted when they witnessed the horror injury our new signing Eduardo Da Silva faced and we lost him for the rest of the season.Who knows if he will ever regain his skills after that injury.

On a good note afew Arsenal players did do well this season.Fabregas as always keeps getting better and better.Flamini the traitor managed to shrug off a hopeless season before and come out all guns blazing this season which got him noticed by AC Milan.Alexander Hleb was a master of trickery this season showing us some wonderful football and we will truly miss him if he decides to leave.Niklas Bendtner did fairly well giving us some crucial goals in crucial matches this season and last but not least Theo Wallcot the wonderkid of the season. He has shown us why Wenger put his faith in such a young kid.He is maturing and will turn out to be one hell of a player for the future.

My thoughts for the next season is we should just try and keep everyone we have at the club and pick some solid players to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season.I would love to see Wallcot and players like Vela,Barazite and Merida get some playing time next season. Thanks Mr. Wenger for a fun season of beautiful football:)
